International Environmental Day: A Call to Action 
International Environmental Day is celebrated on June 5th each year. The day was first established in 1972 by the United Nations General Assembly, and it is now celebrated by millions of people around the world. The purpose of International Environmental Day is to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and its resources.
There are many ways to celebrate International Environmental Day. You can participate in a cleanup or recycling event, plant a tree, or simply learn more about environmental issues. Every little bit helps!

Here are some of the environmental challenges that we face today:
