1] Introduction = Books are the best companion one can have. Everyone love to spend free time as per his own wish doing some interesting activity which turn brings happiness. My hobby is reading books. I have several kinds of books. 

2] The best companion = Books are the best companion one can have because they Never say 'no' or 'not now'. They are available always and at any times to give company. In this way they are very reliable also. They teach good things and relate experiences of other in the form of stories, essays, articles and so on.

3] Enhance Knowledge = It is said that knowledge is life while ignorance is death. There are thousands of books available on the single topic. They have so much to offer and teach. They cover a variety of subjects like morality, art, theology, history, life history of great men etc.

4] Carter to the needs of all = Books do not discriminate between the rich and the poor, children and grow ups. They cater to the taste and needs of all. Children love comics, young people love novels, adventures and romances while mature people like books on theology, history and biographies.

5] Ambassadors of Culture and Art = Books are the carries of art and culture. Plays of Shakespeare and Kalidas, poetry of Tagore, Wordsworth and Keats are no more confined to a specific reading public, region or country. They are read, loved and appreciated all over the world. Literary master pieces like, RAMAYAN, SHRIMADBHAGWATGEETA, THE SECRETE, THE VICTORY, WAR AND PEACE, etc . have been translated in almost all the major languages of the world.

6] Link between generations = Books  knowledge, culture, art, region and other information from one generation to another. They preserve the achievements of human race for the future.

7] Conclusion = Books cover a wide range of topics and fields. They break the monotony of life. They are available for one and all because of their immense variety. They are educative friendly and thus indispensable for us. The famous writer said that 
     "DON'T JUDGE BOOKS BY IT'S COVER".
